I'm a college lecturer from the UK who writes science fiction, horror and a little fantasy (of the sword and sorcery kind). I've been fortunate enough to have had several short stories, novellas and novels published over the years. Where possible I like to blend my preferred genres together. For me writing is an escapist activity and the more removed a tale is from the 'real' world, the more I enjoy writing it.
